My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to you. Together, we’ll explore what brings you to therapy and identify the goals that matter most to you. I use research-based techniques and adapt them to fit your unique needs and experiences.
Throughout the process, I’ll offer a compassionate space where you feel heard and understood. I'll also empower you with tools and strategies to navigate challenges and create meaningful change in your life.
I apply a person-in-environment approach, looking at how your environment, life experiences, and societal systems affect your well-being. Together, we can explore how those factors influence your mental health and teach you strategies to help you cope and thrive.
My therapy career began in 2006, when I discovered my passion for guiding clients through trauma recovery and personal empowerment, counseling women to heal and rebuild after relationship abuse. Later, at the Department of Veteran Affairs, I had the honor of providing evidence-based, trauma-focused therapies to Combat Veterans and survivors of Military Sexual Assault. I've developed and facilitated therapy groups, women’s empowerment workshops, and professional training for Social Service providers and Healthcare workers. I've enjoyed speaking at fundraising events, professional summits, and nonprofit gatherings.
I’m here to support you with compassion, expertise, and a commitment to your growth. Together, we can navigate life’s challenges and help you build the tools to heal, thrive, and feel empowered in your journey.
